***The Essential Story***

The Mark Eaton Band is an Austin , Texas based powerhouse 3 piece featuring sensational guitarist/vocalist/composer Mark Eaton. The Man behind the Gibson SG’s stinging sound will transport you to another dimension. From his North Shore Hawaiian roots – to the hills of south central Texas , you’ll hear that sound not heard since its psychedelic heyday in the late 60’s and early 70’s. The authentic richness of his music could only be produced by an original spirit guided by the greats of his time and stoking the embers for over three decades to bring this music to you.

Rounding out the bottom end on bass guitar is one Maximo Eaton, son of Mark, and though young in years he’s an old soul musically. Max grew up listening to his father’s music literally in the womb! Whether locking in on old traditional rhythm and blues patterns or classic rock grooves, he plays with a conviction that would confound other young players. If a prodigy is one who has it all right out of the box then Maximo spells prodigy in capital letters….and he’s fun to watch too!

Reno-Circuit drummer Johnny Badd caught a Texas wind, and with it the soulful sounds of The Mark Eaton Band… as well as some Texas BBQ! One trip down from the Silver State was all it took to convince John that this was the band he waited all his life for! All the years of nightly casino work paid off sublimely, having developed the undeniable strength it takes to drive this band to its heights! The band in turn required a strong drummer to step in and power the music. When the foot comes down you know Johnny Badd is in the house!!!

Together this is the musical “Fit of the Century”, the band of “Dreams Do Come True” for us and an evening soon well enjoyed by the audience!!!
